The Kirana Megatara Group looks to reintroduce its Rubber-Day Events as part of the group’s overall community engagement efforts, after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In 2012, the Kirana Megatara Group established its partnership with the Kliwon Training Center in Jambi, Indonesia. Operated by veteran rubber farmer Pak Kliwon, the Center commits to developing the proper farming skills essential to maximizing the productive life of rubber trees and the well-being of the rubber farmer communities in general.

BNI’s 76th-anniversary e-sports tournament sees 9,113 participants

The 76th anniversary of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) was commemorated with the holding of the E-Sports Tournament for a Stronger Indonesia. The contest involved competitors in three of the most popular video games in the world: Free Fire, PUBG Mobile and Lokapala.

BNI collaborated with Dunia Games, which has significant experience hosting e-sports tournaments. Some 9,113 people, or 2,207 groups, attended the event, 130 percent above the organizer's initial estimate.

BNI president director Royke Tumilaar said the potential for enhancing its international banking performance was relatively strong due to the company's two strategic business segments, MSME Go Global and the diaspora community.

B20-G20 Indonesia dialogue focuses on transforming, accelerating digital inclusion

The B20 Indonesia Digitalization Task Force successfully held the G20-B20 dialogue forum on Thursday, highlighting digital transformation and inclusion in an increasingly online era. Conducted in a hybrid form, the meeting explored several recommendations prepared by the B20 Indonesia Digitalization Task Force through a series of panel discussions attended by global business leaders.
